A SINN FEIN councillor accused the British government of being
"inextricably linked to the British army and the Royal Ulster
Constabulary (RUC) and by extension the loyalist paramilitaries."
Loyalist paramilitaries with monikers; the Ulster Freedom Fighters (UFF) and Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) are the unionist's murdering arm who target Catholics and nationalists. Ten days ago the UVF boyos were detected and chased back to their Shankill hideaway as they sniffed for an attempt on the life of Sinn Fein leader, Gerry Adams. In 1984 one of these murdering arms of unionism came close to killing Mr. Adams.
It is truly amazing what goes on without the masses ever knowing anything about it. The friends of unionists are legion in the USA - Ian Paisley (as of 10/24/97)is meeting with good buddy Jessie Helms and with other heavy hitter friends. Friends who wish the continuation of a privileged Proddy class in NI. It would be just were the media to identify Ian's supporters and the monies they provide to his noble cause. He seems to be able to slip in and out of the country without a hint of his being out and about. His ilk (Trimble and co) are never branded as being in cahoots with unionist paramilitaries and the British Army. Sinn Feiners on the other hand, are painted as being in league with the devil.
